Quilting Ministry

Would you like to share your hand quilting skills in the company of dedicated quilters?

Did you inherit a beautiful quilt top that you’d like completed?

Have you created a special quilt top that needs to be finished?

St. William’s Quilting Ministry is here for you. This group of hand quilters meets weekly in the Parish Conference Room to carefully complete quilts someone has created or inherited.

These dedicated women work on quilts of all sizes from baby quilts to queen- and king-size quilts. They will use your choice of quilting design or create a quilting design specifically for your quilt top. Their custom hand stitching enhances the beauty and value of each quilt. All quilting is done for a fee, depending on the size of the quilt top and/or the complexity of the work to be done. All earnings are contributed to St. William Parish.

The Quilting Ministry meets from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. every Wednesday and is open to all interested quilters. Stitchers can come every week or just when their schedules allow.

If you or someone you know has a quilt top ready to be quilted, please stop in any Wednesday to learn more about the Ministry, see a work in progress and meet the quilters.

For more information about joining the Quilting Ministry or having a quilt completed, contact Ellen Casanova at 262-549-1677 or e-mail her at ecasanova@wi.rr.com.
