Thank you for your input. We received almost 700 responses from the listening sessions, emails, letters and conversations. Your input was reviewed and utilized to make decisions on modifications to the school plan. Below is the spreadsheet with the complete listing of comments from the three Dialogue and Information Sessions held in November 2019.
The information and dialogue sessions are completed and approximately 375 parishioners participated. The purpose of the meetings was to present a draft proposal for Waukesha Catholic to downsize from three to two campuses. This move is prompted by the reduction in subsidy from the parishes, the age and deferred maintenance of the St. Joseph campus, the necessity to streamline costs and eliminate redundancies.
The parish and school is currently evaluating the feedback from these sessions and will continue to develop plans based on parishioner input and ideas in order to help guide future growth in a way that builds on parish mission and goals. This information will be compiled and analyzed to guide the next steps of Waukesha Catholic’s proposal. More information will be communicated through the bulletin, Flocknote newsletter, website, Facebook and announcements. A follow up session has been set for December 17th at 6:30pm (location was not determined at time of print but will be announced).
