Catholic Community of Waukesha

Finance Council

The Finance Council monitors the financial condition of the parish. The council prepares the parish budget, any budgets for extraordinary expenditures and reviews financial statements. The council also prepares and presents an annual financial report to the parish. Our Finance Council has seven members:  the pastor, the administrative director, two trustees and three members at large. The at-large members are appointed to two-year terms. The council meets ten times each year and is not combined with the Finance Councils of the other cluster parishes. Each parish in the cluster has its own Finance Council. The activities and recommendations of the council are firmly rooted in the biblical concepts of stewardship and justice. Individuals with experience and interest in accounting, analysis, planning and investment would make excellent council members.

The Finance Council has responsibility for the following committees:

  • Parish Festival Committee
  • Investment Committee
  • Building & Grounds Committee
  • Money Counters
