Archbishop Jerome E. Listecki sends out a weekly communication to Catholics of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. These letters can be found at

2014 Archdiocese of Milwaukee Synod

Thousands of Catholics, over the course of the past eighteen months, studied, discussed and discerned the needs of the local Catholic Church.  On June 7 & 8, 2014, led by the Holy Spirit, approximately 500 delegates and representatives from parishes and other Catholic organizations from across the archdiocese met to discern those needs and vote on what they felt were the highest priorities.
On Sunday, September 14, 2014, the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, Archbishop Listecki read and then signed an official "decree" accepting the recommendations put forth by the delegates of the 2014 Archdiocesan Synod. The Synodal Declaration presents Archbishop Listecki's pastoral priorities for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee for the next ten to fifteen years based off of the discernment and voting that occurred at the 2014 Archdiocesan Synod. Click here to read the Synodal Declaration.
