Catholic Community of Waukesha

Parish Registration

We are honored that you are considering membership at St. William Parish!  We promise to accept you wherever you are in your faith journey and to help you follow God's plan for your life.  Upon becoming a member of our parish, we encourage you to grow in your faith by regular worship, study of God's word, stewardship, service to others and sharing God's word with others.

How can I register to be a member of St William Parish?
Contact Wanda Roth at 262-547-2763 ext 102 to make an appointment during normal business hours, Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or stop by the Auxilliary Parish Office on Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. If an in-person registration is not possible for you, please contact Wanda so that other arrangements can be made.

How long does it take to register?
Registration takes about 10-15 minutes and involves filling out paperwork.

Do I need to bring anything to register?
If you have children who are in need of sacraments, such as Eucharist or Confirmation, a copy of their baptismal certificate is required. If you do not have a copy available, furnish the name and address of the church where your child was baptized and we will request a copy of the certificate.

Is there any recommended amount for contributions to support the parish?
No - We ask that you prayerfully consider sacrificial giving to benefit your family and those of your neighbors. We do request during registration that you complete a pledge card with your estimated contribution per week/month/year for budgeting purposes.

Do I need to let my prior parish know that I am changing parishes?
Yes – Parishes are encouraged to keep up-to-date records of their members concurrently with the Archdiocese of Milwaukee; therefore, you should notify the parish you are leaving.
